ANSWER: Owner-level decisions are made by the members at membership meetings which are held in-person. Members elect a board that makes decisions between membership meetings, in accordance with policies established by the members. The board hires management that makes decisions between board meetings, in accordance with policies established by the board and members. You have several ways to find out what's happening and how to give input. 1) read the newsletters send you, 2) participate in the online forum, 3) give us a call or email if you have any questions or concerns or suggestions, and 4) participate in membership meetings. We are committed to sharing info and listening to what members' want.  This enterprise is owned by its members.

QUESTION: Are major Co-op Power Board decisions brought to a vote of all members?

ANSWER: Yes, whenever the by-laws require it, or whenever members have voted to require a decision to come back to them, or whenever the board believes the members would like a say in the matter.
